A small update with no official notes. It changed map data and two Horde Siege enemies. No weapon, mod, cosmetic, class or perk
data changed.
What changed
Drone Advanced Shotgunner (Horde Siege) gained three new settings: 10, 25 and 1,200.
Basic Pumpkin Sniper (Horde Siege) lost three settings (10, 25, 40).
What these values change in play is not known.

Stability, Campaign, Horde Siege and Versus fixes
MultiplayerCampaignHorde Siege
An update for the early access period, ahead of global release. It is a
fixes pass: stability, online sessions and a run of Campaign, Horde Siege and Versus bugs.
No weapon or balance numbers changed.
What changed
Stability and performance: various stability, performance, hardware
compatibility and reporting improvements.
Online: some Versus Social matches no longer stick on “Waiting for
players”. Xbox sign-in handles a system clock that is far off. A split-screen
player could be signed out after suspending and resuming (the Bilefrog-Kalona
error). Online-session stability improved.
Campaign: players joining an existing Campaign could receive War Journal
progress and Forge rewards earned before they joined. Players could stay attached
to turrets when a cinematic began. Some join-in-progress players missed Forge
Discovery War Journal progress.
Act 2, Chapter 2: the objective could fail to update on entering
Allfather’s Plaza, and the Heavy Gear in the Black Raven Down side objective
could appear without a Vulcan.
Act 4: some side objectives in Chapter 1 could fail to start during
introductory dialogue. One cause of the Chapter 2 Power Station defense not
completing was fixed.
Horde Siege: certain Siege Blitz Secure objectives could not be
completed. The extraction helicopter could fail to appear in a Plaza Ruins Blitz
mission.
Versus: in Demolition, a bomb could get stuck in a defusing state if the
player was eliminated as the defuse began.
UI: Online Diagnostic text resized. One cause of the UI repeatedly
claiming the same Challenge Mail reward was fixed.
The Coalition published its full multiplayer notes the day before early access.
Weapon, movement, Horde Siege and Versus tuning all moved. Almost none of it came with figures,
so none are printed here.
What changed
Weapons: Prototype Lancer damage set between the two beta weekends. Lancer Mk1 and
Vulcan damage down. Hammerburst damage up. Gnasher hits harder at range when aiming and its
hipfire is more consistent. Snub fires slower. Gut-Puncher carries less spare ammo.
Movement and cover: strafing is more responsive. Cover entry speed and the cancel
distance were adjusted. Cover slip speed and slide distance are down.
Horde Siege: Repair objectives retuned. Boomers, Flayers and Grinders can be executed
with the Prototype Lancer at a lower health threshold. Weapon part rewards are down for invasions
and for stockpiles. Every Invasion is harder, and so are Commander and Allfather. The Medic's stim
duration changed. Equipment costs more. Some Squad Perks are weaker and cost more Energy.
Fixes: stability and performance across PC, Xbox and handhelds. Graphics settings no longer
reset on PC. Macro abuse of semi-automatic weapons blocked. Horde Siege objectives that could not start or
finish. Tickers and Gorehooks. Stuck matchmaking and the "Waiting for Other Players" screen.
More than four squad members in Versus. Team Deathmatch matches ending early. And more.
Options: a field of view (FOV) slider. HDR calibration. Chromatic Aberration and Film Grain can be turned
off. PC maximum frames-per-second presets up to Unlimited. Optional multi frame generation. Player XP adjusted so
Horde Siege and Versus level at a similar rate.
Known at launch: memory pressure in very long sessions without reloading a checkpoint.
The benchmark overlay can under-report frames per second. The game process can keep running after you close it.
PC offline play opens October 6.
Fourteen days after the beta’s servers closed, an update
replaced the 62.89 GB install with a 19.8 MB placeholder that shows a
single marketing end card. There is no gameplay content left on disk, and
there will not be again.
What changed
The pre-release package landed Aug 31, 2026, 6:50 PM CDT,
14 days after the beta’s second and final
weekend closed, Aug 17, 2026, 10 AM Pacific.
Install size: 62.89 GB, down to 19.8 MB. The update took 797 milliseconds to apply, a sign on
its own that nothing large shipped.
All of the beta’s game data was removed: 124.43 GB
uncompressed (62.89 GB installed).
This is not a content patch. It is the beta being decommissioned.

Prototype Lancer adjusted
MultiplayerBalance
The Coalition said it had adjusted the Prototype Lancer.
No figures came with that, so none are printed here.
What changed
Prototype Lancer: adjusted,
by The Coalition’s own account. No figures were published; the Sep 30
release notes say only that its damage was set between the two beta weekends.
Nothing else was named.

Ten changes announced
MultiplayerBalance
The Coalition posted a list of ten changes. No numbers came
with any of them, so none are printed here.
What changed
Prototype Lancer: more base
damage, and a smaller bonus for a perfect reload. No numbers were
given with it.
Hit detection improved in Horde Siege.
Anti-cheat protection improved. Enforcement action taken against
verified cheaters.
A fix for the Drone-Snub error code, with updated port
requirements.
Stability improved and crash frequency reduced, across all
platforms.
Mitigations for connection timeout errors.
Further improvements to Versus matchmaking.
A fix for some third-party controllers not being recognized.
A fix for the inability to link Microsoft accounts.
Further hitching reduction on Xbox Series S.
Also noted alongside the list, not one of the ten: Aim Assist
affects Campaign and Horde Siege only, not Versus.

evening
101 subtitle lines removed
Multiplayer
A second update on the same day, about ten hours after
the morning one. It removed voice content, and it went almost
entirely unnoticed.
What changed
101 English subtitle lines removed. None were added, and
none were reworded.
Most of it is ordinary squad chatter: “Get your ass
up”, “Decoy deployed”, “Come on, it’s
help a Carmine day!” The kind of line you hear a hundred
times a session without registering it.
14 of the 101 name enemies E-Day does not feature:
Pouncer, Snatcher, Juvie, Drudge, Tracker, Scion, Shepherd,
Kestrel, DeeBee and Lambent. That is 14 lines out of a hundred
rather than the whole set. If you have seen this reported as all
the cut enemy callouts being removed, that is not what
happened.
The morning update removed no voice lines. The evening one did.

morning
Seven language packs removed
Multiplayer
An update landed that morning and a lot of players
assumed content had been cut. It had not.
What changed
Seven language packs removed: the per-language voice
audio.
The English dialogue people thought had gone was still there,
every line of it.
If the game felt different that morning, nothing has been found
that would explain it.
