Bloody Star Trench
Elias Trench garnered a reputation for doing whatever it takes to seize COG victory, no matter the cost. Rumors quickly spread of him intentionally sacrificing Gears to overwhelm UIR forces. His ruthlessness in battle has earned him the nickname "Bloody Star Trench", referring to the common belief that his Colonel stars are soaked in the blood of his fallen Gears. Trench has publicly dismissed these claims as "treasonous smears by Indie sympathizers".
