Horde Siege

Horde Siege caps objective Weapon Parts at 4 to 34 a mission

Each difficulty has a cap on what objectives pay, from 4 Weapon Parts on Rookie to 34 on Allfather. Events and Stockpiles pay on top of it, and none of it counts unless someone extracts.

This is the per-mission picture for Horde Siege. The Siege Rewards calculator has the full workings.

Objectives pay into a cap

Each side objective banks 100 points, and leftover points carry over. How many points buy one Weapon Part depends on difficulty: 67 on Rookie, 40 on Infantry, 25 on Commander and 10 on Allfather. That is about 1.5, 2.5, 4 and 10 Weapon Parts per side objective (Our reading).

A mission also caps what objectives can pay: 4 on Rookie, 8 on Infantry, 14 on Commander and 34 on Allfather. The cap is checked before a payout, so the last payout can take you over it. The points and the cap apply to objective rewards only.

What a typical run pays

A run of 3 side objectives and an extract pays 4 on Rookie, 7 on Infantry, 12 on Commander and 30 on Allfather (Our reading). About 3 side objectives reach the Rookie cap of 4. It takes about 4 to reach the Allfather cap of 34 (Our reading).

Typical Run is 3 side objectives and an extract. Most With One Event is the cap plus 9, the top Invasion event payout; a last objective payout that runs past the cap would add to it. Both columns are Our reading.

Weapon Parts count only if someone extracts

Weapon Parts only count if at least one squad member extracts. If extraction fails, they are lost.

Squad retries run 5 on Rookie, 4 on Infantry, 3 on Commander and 1 on Allfather. Allfather has the biggest payout and the fewest retries, so a failed extraction costs the most there.

What pays on top of the cap

Three sources pay Weapon Parts directly. None of them is held to the objective cap.

  • Invasion events (what they are) pay 2, 5 or 9 Weapon Parts by how much you contribute (Our reading). The events are Armored Brumak, Chained Brumak, Broodshifter and Corpser. Both Brumak events add no points (Our reading). The game gives no figure for the Broodshifter or the Corpser.
  • The Vraahk fight pays 1, 2 or 3 Weapon Parts (Our reading).
  • A Weapon Part Stockpile pays 1, 6, 15 or 35 by the share of players in its zone: 0%, 33.3%, 66.6% or 90%.

A Stockpile at 90% pays 35, one more than the whole Allfather objective cap of 34.

More Invasion events, a Vraahk fight or a Stockpile add more, so there is no single true maximum. The last column of the table is the most with one Invasion event at the top payout and nothing else.

What is not known

What any weapon mod costs in Weapon Parts is not known, so how many mods a mission buys cannot be stated. Neither is the point value of a Perk Cache, Supply Drop or Save the Squad event, or which class level unlocks which mod.
